Here we are in Blenheim on January 6, 2006. Soooooo much has happened in the past few days that I can't even begin to put it into words. Val and Scott are going to try and write journal entries and I will post them as they are ready. Let's just say things didn't go as planned, but who needs a plan when your goal is to have fun?:) We've tasted bad, mediocre, good, and nearly great beers. Eaten wonderful mussels, tasted good wine, and listened to New Zealand's version of Funk/Jazz. So Karl Denson and Galactic have nothing to worry about, but the band was pretty good!

The past 4 days were some of the best on the trip, and we are now in the heart of New Zealand's wine country and have nowhere to be for a few days. We are planning to rent bikes tomorrow and ride through the wine country and taste as many as possible. It's a tough job, but heck, that's what we're supposed to do while were here, isn't it?

I just hope Scott doesn't go home and not remember what New Zealand looks like!:")
